Great news! Our first single, The King of the Sky, has dropped on iTunes about 10 days early. We regret to say that this track is only, for the moment, available in Europe but we are working our butts off to make it available everywhere else as soon as we possibly can.

For now the track is available at the following link http://itunes.apple.com/gb/album/king-of-the-sky-single/id479837487

Now we are heading off to London to the Brixton Academy for the final leg of our tour with Beady Eye. See you all there!

November 6, 2011 - Good News! And bad news…

Happy November everyone. We’re gearing up for the start of our UK tour with Beady Eye in just a few more days. We are all very excited and can’t wait to get started. We have a couple little news pieces to get out of the way. As the title suggests we have good news…and bad news.

Let’s start with the bad news. We regret to announce that due to unforseen circumstances the November 19th show at the Water Rats venue in London has been cancelled. All you Londoners can still catch us as the supporting act for Beady Eye on November 17th at the 02 Academy in Brixton.

To make up for the bad news I’m going to give you 2 points of good news! We are PLEASED to announce our first single, King of the Sky, will be released November 27th. It will be available for download at various online retailers. Check back here on the 27th for further details.

Also, for all those out there living in Germany, we are honoured to have recently been featured in Rolling Stone magazine as a featured artist chosen by Andy Bell of Beady Eye and Oasis. Quite an honour indeed.

September 23, 2011 - Additional UK Dates!

We are pleased to announce that in addition to the support dates with Beady Eye we will also be playing a couple of solo shows! On November 10th we will be in the city where it all began. MANCHESTER! You will find us playing in The Factory. Also we will be playing at The Water Rats in London on November 19th. We hope to see you all there!

September 2, 2011 - UK TOUR! Support act for BEADY EYE!

It’s a busy time here at The Hippy Mafia compound. We’re tuning our guitars, checking our luggage, and preparing to head to the land of fish and chips. That’s right. We are on our way to The United Kingdom for a tour this November! What makes this tour even better is we have been invited to be the support act for none other than Beady Eye! It was a privilege to have been their support act during the Toronto leg of their North America tour and we are nothing but excited for this tour.
It feels great to be returning to the kingdom. We hope to see you all there!

July 3, 2011 - Wrap-Up, Album Release, Upcoming Tour

Greetings to all the Mafioso’s out there. It’s been a busy few weeks here at The Hippy Mafia compound. We’ve recently wrapped up a Southern Ontario tour which certainly got the blood moving. The reaction from the North By Northeast gig at the Velvet Underground in Toronto was very well received. If you don’t believe us then just check out our scorecard! 90% Not bad!

The big moment for us, of course, was opening for Liam Gallagher’s new band Beady Eye at the Sound Academy. It was a fantastic evening for everyone who was there and we were honoured to be a part of it. Not only that but we’re happy to see so many new faces at the Facebook page since that evening.

Welcome to the new Mafiosos.

What does all this mean? R&R? Nuts to that! There’s too much to do! We’re on full lock-down at The Hippy Mafia compound. A pack of gila-monsters have been released. This ensures that no one gets in and no one gets out.

What are we so busy working on?

Black Beatles Vol. 1 for a start. This is our first album slated to be released this coming October. Then in March, 2012 (fingers crossed that the world is still here) we will be seeing the release of Black Beatles Vol. 2.

That’s not all!

In the coming weeks we will be announcing dates for our fall tours. Stay tuned on that.

This is the Hippy Mafia’s humble manservant signing off.
